$100,000 Cliffhanger Shootout

Sunday August 28, 2011

Greywolf's 10th Annual $100,000 Cliffhanger Shootout took place on Sunday August 28th, 2011.  This year's event continued with our new format where entrants play all 18 holes AND get a chance to win $100,000!

Everybody who played on Sunday August 28 was automatically entered in the Shootout.  Entry cost $50 in addition to the regular green fee on the day.  Golfers played a full round of golf at Greywolf and had opportunities to win several sensational prizes throughout their round; including $100,000 if they got a hole-in-one on Cliffhanger!

Check out this Youtube video where Gavin Moran, our head pro gives tips on playing Cliffhanger and talks about the Shootout.

The Cause

This year all proceeds from the Shootout were donated to the Panorama Adaptive Snow Sports Program (PASS). The funds will be used to help built an accessible storage facility for their adaptive ski and snowboard equipment.

PASS is a not-for-profit charitable organization that works to make snow sports at Panorama barrier free so that people with disabling conditions can be active, have, and be safe.

"PASS provided the highlight of Werner’s 2008 winter season. Programs like this make a huge difference in the lives of disabled people."

Format and prizes

All golfers will play a normal round of golf, however, on the prize holes (listed below) ladies must play from the white tees, and men must play from the marked tee (all 3 tee boxes will be together).
