JOB ASPECTS

  • Early shifts with afternoons off --- mid-summer hours are 5:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
  • Seasonal contracts starting as early as April, with flexible start dates through June.
  • End dates range from late August to late October.
  • 35-40 hours per week, with guaranteed hours regardless of course activity.
  • Wages starting at:
    $19.00/hour, based on experience.
  • Staff accommodation (subject to availability).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the golf course to a world class standard, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including handheld and power tools.
  • Preparing the course for play each day, including mowing turf, raking bunkers, trimming, weeding, and other general maintenance practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to adapt to feedback and improve the course.
  • Learn about golf operations and assist in creating a visually stunning and functional course.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Thrives in a feedback-oriented, team-focused environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Physically capable of handling tools such as leaf blowers, trimmers, rakes, and shovels.
  • Knowledge of golf is an asset but not required --- we're happy to teach you!
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
